Civilization VII's Launch and Post-Launch DLC Roadmap

Civilization VII, the latest installment in the acclaimed 4X strategy series from Firaxis Games and 2K, is set for release on February 11th, with early access for Deluxe and Founders Edition owners beginning February 6th. The game will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including Steam Deck compatibility. A day-one patch will also be released.

Firaxis has confirmed the game has gone gold, signifying the completion of primary development and minimizing the risk of further delays.

The game's post-launch content will be delivered through two DLC packs:

Crossroads of the World (March Release): This DLC will be released in two parts.

  • Part 1: Introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, along with Ada Lovelace as a new leader.
  • Part 2 (Three weeks after Part 1): Adds Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations, and features Simon Bolivar as a new leader.

Right to Rule (Q2/Q3 2025): This DLC will expand the game further, adding two more leaders, four new civilizations, and several new natural wonders.

In addition to the DLC, Firaxis plans to enhance the core gameplay experience with new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest, launching in March.
