Flexispot's Spring Sale is currently offering up to 60% off on their most popular standing desks and ergonomic chairs. We at IGN have always appreciated Flexispot for delivering quality electric standing desks packed with desirable features at a significantly lower cost than many of their more renowned competitors. In fact, we've ranked Flexispot's top-tier model, the E7 Pro, as the best overall standing desk of 2025. Having personally used a Flexispot desk for years, I can confidently say that there's no need to splurge on a supposedly "superior" desk.

The Flexispot C7 is packed with features typically found in much pricier chairs. It boasts an automatically adjusting lumbar system, adjustable seat depth, adjustable armrests, adjustable seat tilt, adjustable headrest, and 128 degrees of recline, among others.
Flexispot C7 Review (without footrest) by Bill Loguidice**
The FlexiSpot C7 is a solid chair, though for its price, I would have appreciated a more premium-feeling leather or leather-like material instead of fabric, along with better cushioning. The inability to lock the wrist rests in place was also occasionally bothersome. If you can overlook these quirks and value adjustable features in a chair, the C7 is a good choice. Its understated design fits well in any professional office setting. However, if you're after something flashier or more luxurious, you might want to look elsewhere.

In my opinion, the Flexispot E5 desk offers the best value among electric standing desks while still delivering all the premium features you could want. Currently priced at $199.99 (down from $379.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80, the E5 is the most affordable model featuring dual motors. Dual motor systems are preferable over single motor setups because they can handle more weight (up to 287 pounds in this case) and are more durable as the stress is evenly distributed across both motors. The desk's double crossbeam structure ensures even support across the surface to prevent sagging. The steel legs feature a 3-stage column, which is superior to the 2-stage columns found in many desks at this price point, supporting a greater vertical range of 23.6" to 49.2". The essential anti-collision feature will stop the desk if it detects an obstruction. The keypad controls include three memory presets and a timer to remind you to switch between sitting and standing. The E5 comes with a comprehensive 10-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical parts, including the motor.

The E7 is currently available for $299.99 (originally $499.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80. For an additional $140, the Flexispot E7 provides superior build quality, a higher weight capacity of 355 pounds, more included accessories, and an extended warranty. The legs have a more professional appearance with laser-welded seams and a powder-coated finish, without visible holes. The advanced keypad now features an LCD display, additional memory presets, a built-in USB charger, and a child-lock function, which is crucial for households with curious toddlers. The E7 also includes a built-in cable tray to neatly manage your wiring. With an impressive 15-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical components, including the motor, the Flexispot E7 stands out as a premium choice.

The E7 Pro is Flexispot's flagship standing desk. Though recently released and not as deeply discounted as other models, it's currently available for $419.99 (down from $599.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80. The E7 Pro boasts the highest build quality among the models listed, supporting a remarkable weight capacity of 440 pounds. Flexispot claims the motor is superior to standard dual motor setups found in the E5 and E7, as well as other brands, providing smoother and faster movement. It also offers enhanced cable management options. Like the E7, the E7 Pro comes with a 15-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical parts, including the motor. This makes the E7 Pro arguably the best standing desk deal available today.
Flexispot E7 Pro Review by Billy Givens**
"The FlexiSpot E7 Pro stands out with its simple yet effective keypad, quiet dual motors, near-perfect cable management, and excellent stability. Whether it's your first desk or an upgrade, it's challenging to find a better option in this price range for both work and gaming."
I currently own three standing desks. While one came with a desktop, for the other two, I sourced my own surfaces. For one, I bought a large 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea for $199. For the other, I got a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot and finished it myself. You really can't go wrong with either option, and there are plenty of others available. The key takeaway is that these standing desk bases don't require the manufacturer's desktops. If you prefer to install your own desktop, feel free to do so as long as it's within the weight limitations.
From my personal experience, I own a Jarvis Fully, a Vari Ergo, and a Flexispot E5. All three have been excellent desks, serving me well for over three years. However, the Flexispot E5 is notably less expensive than the other two, and it's hard to see where the extra cost goes. For the price of a basic Jarvis Fully, you could get the top-end Flexispot E7 Pro and still save money.
