Forgotten Memories: Remastered Edition Is an Old-School Survival Horror With a Modern Touch!

The chilling survival horror, Forgotten Memories, returns in a remastered edition, now available on Android! Following a period of review with Google Play, Forgotten Memories: Remastered Edition is finally accessible to Android users, joining its iOS counterpart which launched last month.

The Story:

Play as Rose Hawkins, a police detective embroiled in a perplexing case. However, things quickly take a disturbing turn when Rose awakens in a strange, unsettling location. There, she encounters Noah, a mysterious woman whose secrets are as enigmatic as the case itself. A pact is formed, potentially offering a path to solving the mystery, but this alliance holds hidden depths waiting to be uncovered.

What's New in the Remastered Edition?

This release evokes the classic '90s horror vibe of Silent Hill, enhanced with remastered features. The fear factor has been significantly amplified. High-resolution graphics with HDR lighting and dynamic shadows create a more immersive experience. The audio has received a complete overhaul, featuring new voice acting and a new musical score.

Gameplay improvements include enhanced combat, refined interactions, and a new checkpoint-based save system. A challenging "Insane" mode and additional achievements add replayability. Importantly, the game is free of in-app purchases.

The Android Release Delay:

Psychose Interactive's initial submission to Google Play was rejected due to the remastered graphics. Google deemed the improved realism of the game's mannequins a violation of content guidelines. The developers addressed this by adjusting mannequin poses and adding clothing. After further revisions, the game was finally approved. A significant December update featuring a spooky Christmas theme and a new game mode is already planned.
