While usually tight-lipped about upcoming content, the official Fortnite Festival Twitter account has seemingly confirmed the partnership with Crypton Future Media, Hatsune Miku's creators. The confirmation came in response to a tweet from the official Hatsune Miku account about a missing backpack. The Fortnite Festival account's playful reply, indicating they have the backpack "backstage," is a significant departure from their usual cryptic style, suggesting an official announcement is near.

Fortnite leakers, including ShiinaBR, predict a January 14th launch, aligning with the game's next update. The anticipated release includes two skins: a classic Miku outfit (included with the Fortnite Festival Pass) and a "Neko Hatsune Miku" skin (available in the Item Shop).
