Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings the chill with new features! This snowy season update introduces Koda, a new character with unique abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.

Koda, an arctic native, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This allows him to detect enemies hidden behind cover (excluding crouching or prone enemies) and highlights enemy positions during parachuting.

Frosty Tracks, icy rails for enhanced mobility, are a major addition. These tracks let players dash, shoot, turn, and use throwables while traversing the map. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Aurora Events further enhance the winter experience. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad includes aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these items completes event quests, providing buffs to all teammates.
