A new trailer for Freedom Wars Remastered showcases its revamped gameplay and control systems, offering a fresh look at this dystopian action RPG. Players will battle formidable mechanical creatures known as Abductors, gather resources, upgrade their equipment, and complete challenging missions to survive in a world ravaged by resource depletion.
This remastered version boasts significant enhancements. Beyond upgraded visuals, the game features a faster pace, thanks to refined mechanics and increased movement speed. Crafting and upgrading systems have been streamlined with more intuitive interfaces and the addition of attachable/detachable modules, plus module synthesis for enhanced capabilities. A new, challenging "Deadly Sinner" difficulty mode caters to experienced players. Furthermore, all original customization DLC from the PS Vita release is included.
Originally a PlayStation Vita exclusive, Freedom Wars shares a similar gameplay loop with the Monster Hunter series, though set in a distinctly futuristic world. Players undertake missions – solo or in online co-op – ranging from citizen rescue and Abductor destruction to capturing vital control systems, all to contribute to their Panopticon (city-state) and serve their sentence for the crime of being born.
Freedom Wars Remastered's visual upgrade is substantial, offering 4K resolution at 60 FPS on PS5 and PC, 1080p at 60 FPS on PS4, and 1080p at 30 FPS on Switch. The trailer highlights the main character, a Sinner condemned to a life of servitude, and the intense battles against massive Abductors.
The game launches January 10th for PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC. Prepare for a faster, more polished, and challenging Freedom Wars experience.
