One particularly sought-after element is the Rhino tank, located within the heavily guarded Lago Zancudo military base. This guide details how to infiltrate the base and acquire this powerful vehicle.

Infiltrating Lago Zancudo Military Base

Lago Zancudo is situated south of North Chumash beach (see image for precise location). Its heavily fortified perimeter presents a challenge, but several infiltration methods exist:

Aerial Infiltration: Approaching by air (helicopter or plane) triggers a two-star wanted level upon airspace entry, escalating to four stars and guided missile attacks if you persist. A parachute landing offers a higher chance of survival.

Ground Infiltration: A fast vehicle allows you to potentially bypass the base's defenses. Driving or riding a bike over a nearby cliff or hill, aiming for the gap between outer fences, provides a stealthy entry. Alternatively, if the guard isn't attentive, you might even drive through the main checkpoint undetected.

Acquiring the Rhino Tank

Once inside, locating and securing the Rhino tank requires a strategic approach:

1. Engage the Rhino tank with gunfire, then immediately seek cover.
2. Repeat this process until the driver abandons the vehicle.
3. Eliminate the driver and claim the Rhino tank.

Be warned: Gaining control of the tank instantly grants you a four-star wanted level. Immediately seek refuge in a tunnel to evade aerial attacks.
