Supergiant Games is setting a high bar for early access game development with Hades II. Their second major update, titled "Warsong," is a substantial release boasting an extensive list of changes. While the full changelog is lengthy, it's a testament to their commitment to improvement, unlike the comparatively mammoth 1,700 fixes in the recent STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl patch.
This update brings over 2,000 new voice lines, fresh music tracks, and significantly expanded character interactions. Players will also encounter Ares, the God of War, as a new familiar, alongside numerous quality-of-life improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Importantly, the changelog specifically acknowledges player-suggested changes, demonstrating a clear commitment to community feedback. This attention to detail reinforces the value Supergiant places on player input.
Looking ahead, a third major update is planned for Spring, though a full release date remains unannounced.
