Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero both graced The Game Awards 2024 with new trailers. The Honkai: Star Rail trailer showcased the upcoming location, Amphoreus, and teased a mysterious new character, Castorice.
The trailer, shown at the Los Angeles awards ceremony, offered a brief preview of Amphoreus, the next destination in the game, and introduced Castorice, a new character shrouded in mystery. It also provided a nostalgic recap of previously visited locations.

The Grecian-inspired aesthetic of Amphoreus aligns with MiHoYo's tendency to draw inspiration from real-world cultures for their fantasy settings. Theories suggest a connection to the ancient Greek unit of measurement, the ampheoreus, further solidifying the Hellenic influence.
Castorice's introduction follows MiHoYo's pattern of unveiling intriguing female characters before their full reveal. Her enigmatic appearance certainly piques interest.
