"Infinity Nikki Delays v1.6 Release After Community Outcry"

After weeks of players voicing their frustrations, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the issues surrounding the rocky rollout of Version 1.5. The update, which many felt was released prematurely, has led the team to acknowledge that they were not fully prepared for the launch. As a result, Infinity Nikki's team has announced a delay for Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?

Originally scheduled for release on June 4th, Version 1.6 has now been rescheduled to June 12th. This delay comes in the wake of Version 1.5's launch on April 28th. To accommodate the postponed update, the current Bubble Season will be extended until June 12th. This means that ongoing events like Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? will continue to be available. Additionally, stores such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will remain open. Weekly tasks, including Starlit Pursuit, which was originally set to start on May 20th, will now be part of Version 1.6.

The development team has issued an apology, citing performance issues across multiple platforms, including PlayStation. They are currently working on refining gameplay systems and have reassured players that missing storylines like Threads of Reunion have not been abandoned but merely delayed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

Recently, Infinity Nikki has been plagued by numerous bugs, broken quests, and co-op malfunctions. In an effort to mitigate the fallout, the developers are offering compensation in the form of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th. Players must log in daily to claim these rewards.

Some community members view this compensation as a strategic move to boost engagement metrics following the recent setbacks. Additionally, there's been discontent among players due to the swift transition from the apology to promotional banners for new outfits.
