Infinix has unveiled its latest gaming phone, the GT 30 Pro, targeting gamers who crave robust performance without breaking the bank. Let's dive into what makes this device stand out.
The GT 30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, which offers solid gaming capabilities. The phone boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. With a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, it promises a vibrant and durable viewing experience. The device also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 13MP front-facing camera.
Gamers will appreciate the addition of capacitive shoulder triggers, which provide low-latency performance and support remapping, perfect for games requiring quick reflexes. The GT 30 Pro comes equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for games and apps.
On the photography front, the phone features a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens on the back. Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery in most regions, though some markets may receive a slightly smaller 5,200mAh version. Charging is supported at 45W wired and 30W wireless, with bypass charging to minimize heat buildup during extended gaming sessions.
Running on XOS 15 based on Android 15, the GT 30 Pro comes with built-in AI tools powered by DeepSeek R1. It also boasts an IP64 rating for dust and light splash resistance. The back of the phone sports a striking Cyber Mecha Design 2.0 with sharp lines and RGB lighting, available in Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare. Infinix has also introduced the MagCharge Cooler, a magnetic fan accessory designed to enhance cooling efficiency by about 30 percent. While the true performance and value of the GT 30 Pro will become clear over time, it's priced competitively in the USA at $489 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, and $529 for the 512GB version.
