ETE Chronicle:Re JP Server Pre-Registration is LIVE! Prepare for airborne, aquatic, and land-based combat alongside a team of powerful female characters.

ETE Chronicle's initial Japanese release faced criticism due to its unexpected turn-based gameplay, diverging from anticipated mecha action. However, the developers responded by completely overhauling the game for its Chinese launch, resulting in the action-packed ETE Chronicle:Re. This updated version replaces the original Japanese version, with player progress and purchases from the original transferring to the new game.

A World in Ruins:

ETE Chronicle:Re plunges players into a chaotic future where humanity fights for survival. The Yggdrasil Corporation, utilizing technology derived from extraterrestrial remnants, created the Galar tactical exoskeleton and the Tenkyu orbital base, transforming Earth into a warzone.

The Humanity Alliance, comprised of survivors, counters with the E.T.E. – a new generation of combat machines piloted by skilled female operatives. Players take on the role of an enforcer, impacting both battles and the characters' destinies.

Dynamic Combat:

Commanding a four-character squad, ETE Chronicle:Re demands quick thinking and reflexes. The game's semi-real-time system necessitates constant strategic adaptation amidst enemy fire.

Concerns remain regarding the reboot, stemming from the original's repetitive gameplay loop. Criticisms included the fixed enemy distance preventing flanking maneuvers and the lack of individual character control, leading to monotonous battles. Whether ETE Chronicle:Re addresses these issues remains to be seen.
