KEMCO’s Turn-Based RPG Alphadia III Lands Globally on Android

Today marks the global launch of *Alphadia III* on Android, the third installment in the acclaimed Alphadia series. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, the game initially debuted in Japan in October of the previous year.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Set in Alphadian Year 970, *Alphadia III* plunges players into the climactic stages of the Energi War, a monumental struggle over the enigmatic life force known as energi. The world is partitioned among three major powers: the Schwarzschild Empire to the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance to the east. As the conflict reaches its breaking point, the narrative focuses on a clone soldier named Alfonso. The story is set in motion when a girl named Tarte brings news of a fellow clone's death, sparking a pivotal change in Alfonso's journey.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

*Alphadia III* retains the classic turn-based combat system viewed from a side perspective, rendered in nostalgic pixel art. The gameplay is enriched with systems such as SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can decisively shift the tide of combat when deployed at the right moment. Additionally, Arrays introduce various battle formations and strategies that unlock progressively, offering diverse tactical options tailored to different adversaries.

A novel feature in *Alphadia III* is the Energi Crock. Players can deposit surplus items into it, which over time, generate Energi Elements. These elements can then be exchanged at special shops for equipment and other useful items.

Throughout your journey, you'll encounter various factions such as the peacekeeping alliance Deval and elite military units like Nordsheim's Rosenkreutz. The game also features different energi clone models, with Nordsheim deploying the Berger Series and Schwarzschild utilizing the Delta Series.

In addition to the central narrative, *Alphadia III* offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. You can purchase the game on the Google Play Store for $7.99. There's also a freemium version available on Android, which includes advertisements.
