"After taking the time to gather and discuss feedback from our recent closed beta, we've realized that we missed the mark," the statement explained. Tripwire reaffirmed their dedication to delivering a game that not only evolves the series but also stays true to its roots.

While a new release date has not been set, the game is still slated to launch later in 2025.
