Key talent from 4A Games has come together to form a new studio named Reburn, and they’ve officially revealed their first project: *La Quimera*. The team remains true to its roots, delivering another first-person shooter—this time with a science-fiction twist.
Set in a near-future, high-tech Latin America, the game casts players as a soldier from a Private Military Company (PMC). Equipped with a powerful exoskeleton, you’ll engage in fast-paced combat against a local paramilitary organization across diverse environments—from dense jungles to the heart of a vibrant, neon-lit metropolis.
Reburn aims to deliver more than just action. The game promises a deep narrative and immersive gameplay, designed to be experienced either solo or in co-op mode with up to three players. This blend of storytelling and cooperative play is expected to offer both depth and replayability.
Adding further intrigue to the project is the involvement of acclaimed creative minds Nicolas Winding Refn (*Drive*, *The Neon Demon*) and E.J.A. Warren, who are overseeing the script and world-building elements of the game.
For now, *La Quimera* is confirmed for PC via Steam, though no official release date has been announced. Fans will have to wait patiently for more details as Reburn continues to develop this ambitious debut title.
