NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City necessitates the Fantastic Four's intervention, setting the stage for this exciting season running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

The Fantastic Four makes their debut, with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman available at launch. Human Torch and The Thing are slated for a mid-season update, potentially as a Duelist and Vanguard respectively (unconfirmed).

Players can acquire free cosmetic rewards, including the Peni Parker's Blue Tarantula skin (page 3 of the battle pass) and Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin (page 9). While the Peni Parker skin is entirely free, the Scarlet Witch skin requires the standard battle pass (990 Lattice, approximately $10) for the full reward, including an MVP animation. A free Thor skin is also available through the Midnight Features event.

Beyond free rewards, the in-game shop offers premium skins. Invisible Woman's "Malice" skin boasts a black and red design, while Mister Fantastic's "The Maker" skin features dark gray and blue tones.
