Remember the bizarre, roguelike platformer Mask Up? Well, developer Rouli is back with the sequel, Mask Around, and it's even more unconventional. This time, the yellow goo returns, but with a twist – you're not just brawling; you're running and gunning!
Mask Up was a 2D brawler with roguelike elements. Mask Around, however, adds 2D shooting mechanics, allowing you to switch seamlessly between ranged combat and close-quarters goo-based mayhem. Your goo powers remain crucial, but managing your limited supply is key, especially during boss fights.
More Than Just Goo
Available now on Google Play (iOS release TBA), Mask Around builds upon its predecessor, enhancing the gameplay while retaining the original's unique charm. The strategic use of your goo powers alongside weaponry adds a new layer of depth. Visually, the game also boasts improved graphics.
