Metal Slug's Mobile Return!

Get ready for a blast from the past! HaoPlay Limited's upcoming title, Metal Slug: Awakening, is bringing back the arcade action we all loved. Launching globally on July 18th, 2024, pre-registration is now open.

A Modern Revival of a Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening offers a fresh take on the iconic 90s series. Initially revealed in 2020 by TiMi Studios as Metal Slug Code: J, the game has seen some delays and name changes. Following its Southeast Asian release in late 2023, it's finally gearing up for a worldwide launch.

For the uninitiated, Metal Slug is a renowned Japanese run-and-gun series, debuting in 1996 and created by Nazca Corporation. It's since expanded into a multimedia franchise. While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense, Metal Slug Attack, and Metal Slug Commander existed, Awakening promises enhanced features and gameplay.

The game retains the core shooter mechanics, but boasts updated visuals and new gameplay elements. Rejoin your favorite Metal Slug characters on new missions, explore a World Adventure mode, team up with friends in 3-player co-op, and conquer Roguelike challenges.
