The highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has been given an M for Mature rating by the ESRB, and with it comes the revelation that the game will feature the return of the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, known from the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players have the ability to freely move the camera and zoom in on any part of her body, though unlocking this mode requires collecting all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which means completing four playthroughs of the game.
The ESRB rating confirms the presence of violence and gore, consistent with the game's premise where players take on the role of an elite soldier infiltrating enemy lines. However, the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as the "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans due to its explicit and controversial nature. Despite this, it appears the developers are committed to recreating the original experience with fidelity.

In addition to the return of the Peep Demo Theater, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater introduces a significant gameplay enhancement with its faster camouflage system. A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) from METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on March 28 showcased a video demonstrating the new quick-change feature for camouflage. The post stated, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."
This improvement allows players to switch their camouflage in less than three seconds, a stark contrast to the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where the process was slow and cumbersome, requiring players to pause the game, navigate through menus, and select the desired camouflage. This new system promises to enhance the game's pacing and immersion, especially during stealth sections.
As the release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaches on August 26, 2025, fans are eagerly anticipating this remake, which not only brings back iconic features but also introduces quality-of-life improvements. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
