Monster Hunter Wilds February Open Beta: New Monsters and Content!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Don't worry! A second chance arrives in early February, boasting new features and content. Find out how to participate below!

Hunt a New Monster!
The second Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta is confirmed for the first two weeks of February, offering another opportunity to experience the game before its February 28th launch. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced this via the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time around, players can hunt the Gypceros, a series veteran, unavailable in the initial beta.
Character data from the first beta is transferable to this one and, later, the full game. However, progress won't carry over. Participating players earn in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a bonus item pack.

Tsujimoto explained the second beta's purpose: to accommodate those who missed the first and those eager for another playthrough. While the development team is working on game improvements shown in a previous community update, these changes won't be included in this beta.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 28th, 2025. Get ready to hunt!
