NetEase Unveils AAA Wuxia Game 'Blood Message,' Fans Draw Comparisons to Uncharted and Tomb Raider

Surprise drop! NetEase Thunder Fire has officially unveiled *Blood Message*, a brand-new action-adventure title that’s already generating buzz for its striking resemblance to *Uncharted*—but with a wuxia twist.

Described as a "story-driven, single-player, action-adventure set in Ancient China," *Blood Message* promises an immersive experience powered by [to] advanced technology designed to elevate player engagement and deliver what's being called an "epic blockbuster experience."

Players are in for a deeply emotional ride, with gameplay centered around cinematic storytelling, intense combat, and a seamless blend of stealth and survival mechanics. The game will take you through richly varied environments spanning eastern and central Asia, offering a visually stunning backdrop for your journey.

Blood Message is an upcoming third-person linear action-adventure title developed by 24 Entertainment Studio in collaboration with NetEase Thunder Fire. It tells the gripping tale of a forgotten odyssey filled with themes of loyalty and survival, where players step into the shoes of a nameless messenger and his young son amid the turmoil of Dunhuang’s uprising.

As stated in the official description: "Caught in the crossfire of a righteous uprising and driven by loyalty to both family and country, players will embark on a perilous eastward journey to deliver a message that holds the fate of their war-torn homeland. Amidst the shifting sands of history, they will etch a final tale of loyalty."
