Farming Warped Wire in NieR: Automata

Warped Wire is a drop from stacked bipedal machines. These aren't common, but one area provides a reliable spawn point. Fast travel to the Desert Camp access point and proceed towards the main desert. Before reaching the open desert, you'll traverse mountainous terrain following a pipe, passing some ruins. This section contains multiple stacked enemies.

Two clearings near destroyed buildings are ideal farming spots. All machines near these structures are the stacked variety. Warped Wire has a decent drop rate; expect one or two per clearing. Using a Drop Rate Up plug-in chip significantly accelerates the process.

To expedite farming:

• Fast Travel: Fast travel away and return to Desert Camp to quickly respawn enemies.
• Run Away: Running a significant distance before returning will also respawn them, but fast travel is far more efficient.
