Nintendo Adding Wario Land 4 to Nintendo Switch Online Library

Nintendo Switch Online's Expansion Pack welcomes a classic: Wario Land 4! Launching February 14th, this beloved Game Boy Advance title will be available at no additional cost to Expansion Pack subscribers.

A newly released trailer showcases Wario's return, this time on a treasure hunt within a cursed pyramid. The synopsis teases a perilous adventure: "The misguided Wario is back, and this time he's in search of riches...he'll be lucky to escape alive!"

Originally released in 2001, Wario Land 4 received critical acclaim, including a 9/10 rating from IGN, who praised its diverse level design and challenging gameplay. The game's unique approach, requiring players to solve puzzles to progress, set it apart from typical side-scrollers.

Wario Land 4 becomes the 24th Game Boy Advance title in the Nintendo Switch Online library, joining a roster of classics such as Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
