Hori's Piranha Plant camera, which is officially licensed by Nintendo, comes at a more affordable price compared to Nintendo's $49.99 camera. It's also compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2, which is set to launch on June 5, along with both camera options. Users can also opt for any USB-C compatible camera for the Switch 2.

The Piranha Plant camera offers unique functionality; the part that houses the webcam can detach from its pot, allowing it to be placed directly on top of the Switch 2 for enhanced portability—a feature absent in Nintendo's camera.
