Initial Troubleshooting Steps:

Before resorting to more advanced methods, try these initial fixes:

Graphics API: Switch between Vulkan and DirectX 11 (Dx11) at game startup.
V-Sync: Disable V-Sync in the game's graphics settings.
Multithreading: Deactivate multithreading in the graphics settings.

Launch the game.
Open Task Manager: Access Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc). Click "Details."
Adjust Affinity: Right-click on "POE2.exe." Select "Set Affinity."
Disable Cores: Uncheck the boxes for CPU 0 and CPU 1.

This method doesn't eliminate freezes entirely, but it allows you to force-quit the game via Task Manager and relaunch without a full PC reboot, saving time. However, you must repeat this process for each game session or risk encountering further freezes requiring a PC restart.
