Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th launch, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. This revised release date follows a short delay announced by publisher Whitethorn Games in December, prioritizing a polished player experience.

Originally released in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered praise, earning a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an impressive 83 average score and 92% positive reviewer recommendation. Its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration captivated critics and players alike, establishing it as a top-tier puzzler of 2024.

The PlayStation port's delay, announced just before the initial December release, prompted a wait for a new launch date, finally revealed on January 9th. While the January 28th release date is now confirmed, a PlayStation Store page remains absent, meaning pre-ordering or wishlisting isn't yet possible.

Expect a price point of $24.99, consistent with other platforms. The game will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.

Botany Manor's arrival on PlayStation will complete its initial cross-platform rollout. Developer Balloon Studios hasn't yet announced their next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store's January 28th lineup are Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
