Point-And-Click Mystery Game The Darkside Detective Is Now Out, Along With Its Sequel A Fumble in the Dark

Akupara Games has been prolific lately, releasing several titles recently. Following their deck-building game Zoeti, they've launched The Darkside Detective, a puzzle game, and its sequel, The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark (both available now!).

Exploring Twin Lakes' Mysteries

The game unfolds in the atmospheric, fog-shrouded city of Twin Lakes, a place where the bizarre and supernatural are everyday occurrences. Players control Detective Francis McQueen and his endearingly clumsy partner, Officer Patrick Dooley, as they navigate the underfunded Darkside Division of the Twin Lakes Police Department.

Nine quirky cases await, each a bite-sized adventure filled with humor and the unexpected. Expect to encounter time travel, monstrous tentacles, carnival secrets, and even mafia zombies in these point-and-click investigations. See the trailer below for a glimpse into the action!

Ready to Investigate? -----------------------

The Darkside Detective is a loving tribute to pop culture, blending elements of classic horror, sci-fi, and buddy cop movies. The cases themselves boast intriguing titles, including "Malice in Wonderland," "Tome Alone," "Disorient Express," "Police Farce," "Don of the Dead," "Buy Hard," and "Baits Motel."

The game's humor is a standout feature, woven seamlessly into every pixel. The Darkside Detective is available on the Google Play Store for $6.99. A Fumble in the Dark can be played independently of the first game, also available on Google Play.
