May 2025 in Pokémon GO is shaping up to be an exciting month packed with numerous events and the much-anticipated return of the Lake Trio. For many players, the highlight will undoubtedly be the Lake Trio's comeback in 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will grace Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th, bringing with it the special move Nature's Madness and the chance to encounter its Shiny form.

From May 12th, Pokémon GO players around the world can enjoy a full Lake Trio tour. Depending on your location, you'll encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

Following the Lake Trio's departure, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a Shiny form.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a compelling lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to 12th, succeeded by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and wrapping up with Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

And Here Are the Details of All the Events

The month's events start with "Growing Up" from May 2nd to 7th, accompanied by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. "Crown Clash" takes place from May 10th to 18th, with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is set for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" follows from May 14th to 18th, and a Shadow Raid Day is scheduled for May 17th.

"Final Strike: GO Battle Week" runs from May 21st to 27th, with the May Community Day Classic on May 24th. Pokémon GO will close out the month on May 25th, 2025, with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day.
