This event takes place on Saturday, December 21st, and Sunday, December 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Featured Pokémon (with Shiny possibilities) include:

  • December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
  • December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.

During the final ten minutes of each hour, players can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also boasts 2x Catch XP, 2x Stardust, and numerous other rewards.

Following a year of significant updates, including the introduction of Gigantamax Pokémon and other key features, Niantic is concluding the year with one last major community event. While the timing might seem close to the holidays, dedicated Pokémon Go trainers will undoubtedly appreciate this opportunity for some final festive Pokémon hunting.
