Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place across three international cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, enhanced gameplay, and special bonuses. In-person attendees will experience unique city-specific features, including exclusive merchandise and community hubs. Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, and opportunities to connect with fellow trainers. Past events featured legendary Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow, setting a high bar for 2025.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over:

• Date: January 15th, 2025, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 2025, 8:00 pm (local time)
• Highlights: Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Encounter the debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs). Other Shadow Pokémon will appear, including Snivy and Tepig. Look out for a fashionably dressed Croagunk in snapshots!

Shadow Raid Day (Shadow Ho-Oh):

• Date: January 19th, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time)
• Highlights: Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight additional Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raid Battles. Shiny Ho-Oh will have increased encounter rates, and lucky trainers can teach their Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
