Pokémon Go June Community Day Details Revealed

• Pokémon Go has revealed fresh details for its June Community Day event.
• The featured Pokémon will be Jangmo-o.
• Players can also anticipate special Research tasks and encounters.

It's been an eventful few weeks for Pokémon Go. From the announcement of the upcoming Road Trip and June content update to the Delightful Days Battle League—the news keeps coming. Now, we have the details for the Community Day scheduled for June 21st, 2025.

First and foremost, the star of June's Community Day will be Jangmo-o. It will appear more frequently throughout the event, with a chance to encounter its Shiny form. If you evolve Jangmo-o's evolution, Hakamo-o, into Kommo-o between the start of the event and June 28th, it will learn the Charged Attack Clanging Scales upon evolution.

As always, dedicated Trainers can look forward to Community Day Special Research and Special Background Timed Research. The Special Research will be available for $1.99 (or local equivalent) and will feature tasks centered around catching increased numbers of Jangmo-o.

Even if you skip the Special Research, you can still participate via Field Research. Catching Jangmo-o will reward you with Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with the featured Pokémon. Some of these encounters may even feature the new Delightful Days-themed special background.
