Pokemon TCG Pocket Adds Type: Null, Ultra Beasts

by Amelia Jun 04,2026

Still haven't completed your collection from the Pokemon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians expansion, which launched just three weeks ago? Brace yourself—a new set is already on the horizon. Titled Extradimensional Crisis, this expansion arrives on May 29 and spotlights the bizarre Ultra Beasts and the enigmatic chimera Pokemon, Type: Null.

Extradimensional Crisis introduces the Ultra Beasts, otherworldly entities that played a key role in Pokemon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. Confirmed cards feature Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. The set also expands the roster of Alola region Pokemon first seen in Celestial Guardians and includes Type: Null, strongly suggesting its evolution, Silvally, will be part of the release as well.

With a new expansion comes fresh customization options. An Ultra Beast-themed binder cover will be available for shop tickets starting May 29. Additionally, a floral display board can be purchased with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, beginning June 11.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady pace of new content since its debut last year. While Extradimensional Crisis is categorized as a minor booster expansion—featuring a single booster pack type rather than multiple—it follows closely on the heels of previous releases. This marks the game's seventh expansion overall and its fourth smaller-scale set, joining Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all past expansions remain available for collection in the game, though this could change in the future.
