In response to weeks of fan feedback, The Pokémon Company issued a statement recognizing the supply difficulties. A company representative told IGN, "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity."

The Pokémon Company confirmed that reprints of Prismatic Evolutions are currently in production and will be distributed to licensed retailers as quickly as possible. While a precise release date for these reprints wasn't given, the statement assures fans that efforts are underway to address the shortages. Although online speculation points to scalping as a contributing factor, The Pokémon Company attributed the issue to "high demand."

Beyond the reprints, The Pokémon Company also confirmed that additional Prismatic Evolutions products will be released in the coming months, as previously announced. These include:

• A Mini Tin and Surprise Box (February 7th)
• A Booster Bundle and Accessory Pouch Special Collection (March 7th and April 25th respectively)
• A Super-Premium Collection (May 16th)
• A Premium Figure Collection (September 26th)

Players eager to experience the new cards can also participate in the Pokémon TCG Live mobile game's Battle Pass, which will feature Prismatic Evolutions cards starting January 16th.
