Pokémon Go Announces January 2025 Community Day Featuring Sprigatito!
Get ready, Pokémon Go Trainers! The first Community Day of 2025 is set for January 5th, and the spotlight is on Sprigatito! From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, this Grass-type Pokémon will appear much more frequently, bringing with it a host of exciting bonuses.
This is your prime opportunity to catch plenty of Sprigatito. Evolving your Sprigatito into Floragato and then Meowscarada during the event (or within five hours afterward) unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn the Charged Attack, Flower Trick, making it a valuable addition to any team.
Community Day boosts will amplify your progress: Enjoy triple Stardust and double Candy for every Pokémon caught, and Trainers level 31 and above get double the chance for Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense will last a full three hours, and trades will cost half the usual Stardust, with an extra Special Trade available.
For an added challenge, a $2 Special Research will be available, rewarding players with a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and increased Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research task will continue the fun after Community Day, offering a week to complete tasks and earn a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
Don't miss the in-game shop's Community Day bundles, featuring Super Incubators, Elite Charged TMs, and Lucky Eggs. Sprigatito-themed stickers will also be available through PokéStops, Gifts, and direct purchase. And remember to claim your Pokémon Go codes for some extra free goodies!
