Pokémon TCG Pocket Is Adding Shiny Pokémon Soon!

Get ready for an electrifying update in the world of Pokémon TCG Pocket as The Pokémon Company introduces Shiny Pokémon with the much-anticipated Shining Revelry expansion. This update is set to dazzle fans with the inclusion of these rare and shimmering versions of beloved Pokémon.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, when the Shining Revelry expansion will launch, bringing over 110 new cards into the mix. This expansion isn't just about quantity; it's about quality too. You'll have the chance to pull Shiny versions of fan-favorites like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. What's more, the new digital format will allow these Shiny cards to literally shimmer when tilted, adding a layer of visual delight to your collection.

Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder, perfect for showcasing your sparkling collection. But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Pokémon and Trainers from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are joining the fray, with cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono making their debut.

From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, giving you the opportunity to earn a deck ticket. This ticket can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks, adding even more variety to your gameplay. Ranked Matches Are Finally Coming!

In addition to the Shiny Pokémon, Pokémon TCG Pocket is introducing ranked matches starting March 28th and running until April 27th. This first season will feature cards from the Shining Revelry expansion, allowing you to test your skills against players of similar levels. At the end of the season, you'll receive an emblem to display on your profile, reflecting your final rank.
