Gacha game enthusiasts eagerly await the monthly financial reports, and January 2025's figures are in. Genshin Impact's major update, featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, proved a massive success. miHoYo (HoYoverse) saw a remarkable revenue surge, doubling its earnings to $99.4 million compared to December 2024's $45.6 million.

Trailing behind, Pokémon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue, followed by the popular "female gacha" title, Love and Deepspace, earning $55.2 million.

Honkai: Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reaching $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant drop, its revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.

It's important to note that this ranking considers only mobile platform revenues. While some titles, such as miHoYo's games, also have PC versions, these are excluded from the data. Furthermore, the methodology acknowledges the absence of Google Play in China, employing an iOS revenue multiplier to estimate Android earnings within the country.
