Expecting a standard 30-second greeting, he received over six minutes of deeply personal encouragement. Conroy, profoundly touched by the fan's story, went far beyond a simple response. A Reddit post shared this moving story. After completing Batman: Arkham Knight, the fan was deeply affected by the game's ending, where Batman confronts his own fears, paranoia, and hallucinations—a powerful parallel to the fan's struggle with schizophrenia. Expressing his gratitude, he contacted Conroy, sharing his condition and how Batman's journey resonated with his own.

The fan shared: "This video has saved me from suicide countless times. Hearing Batman say he believed in me was incredibly powerful… But as time went on, it became just as important that it was Kevin himself who believed in me."
