GSC Game World has released a substantial 1.2 update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, boasting over 1,700 bug fixes and improvements. This massive update addresses a wide range of issues across the game, impacting NPC behavior, mutant AI, weapon balance, and overall performance.
Key improvements include significantly enhanced NPC interactions, particularly concerning corpse handling and loot acquisition. NPC shooting mechanics and reactions to stealth have also received numerous fixes. Mutant behavior has been refined with several bug fixes implemented. Balance adjustments have been made to pistols and suppressors. Story mode has undergone extensive bug fixing. Performance optimizations target various errors and FPS drops, alongside multiple audio enhancements.
