Roadman: Multiplayer Crime Game Launches

Roadman is a new criminal underworld management game available for Android, released on both Google Play for PC and Mobile. It was developed by Shaun Leach, who is also the creator of the underwater psychological thriller, Iron Fish.

Roadman is a Multiplayer

The game is played from a third-person perspective. Between 3 to 12 players battle for control across the turf wars of a gritty metropolis, focusing on building a criminal empire from nothing.

You begin with a few low-level street deals and a crew of questionable loyalty. As you progress, you fight for territory, strengthen your defenses, and engage in fast-paced clashes with rival gangs.

Roadman uniquely blends shooter action with strategic management. While there are tactical gunfights, you also spend time negotiating business deals and equipping your gang.

Your goal is to earn over £10,000 through various illegal ventures. This can involve activities like drug trafficking, gambling, sex work, and other shady operations.

Every street corner, deal, and confrontation is charged with deep-seated prejudice. The characters you encounter react based on your identity and background.

As you work to build your reputation, the game challenges you to face stereotypes tied to race, class, and gender. These factors influence who trusts you, who fears you, and who seeks to manipulate you.

Hustle for Money and Survival

Roadman employs dark satire and absurd scenarios to examine how unfair societal assumptions shape behavior. It draws heavily from the harsh realities of informal economies that operate in society's overlooked corners.

The game also provides extensive customization options. You can outfit your character with items like leopard-print pants, flashy submachine guns, and more.

Roadman is free-to-play, so you can download it directly from the Google Play Store.
