Surprise, Balatro's on Xbox Game Pass Now

Xbox’s ID@Xbox showcase delivered a delightful surprise: Balatro, the beloved card-slinging game, is now available on Xbox Game Pass! This announcement came courtesy of the mischievous Jimbo himself, who also revealed a new "Friends of Jimbo" update.

The trailer showcased several exciting additions to Balatro's face card customizations, including characters and imagery from Bugsnax, Civilization, Assassin's Creed, Slay the Princess, Friday the 13th, and Fallout.

This marks the fourth "Friends of Jimbo" update, following previous additions featuring characters from *The Witcher*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, *Among Us*, *Divinity: Original Sin 2*, *Vampire Survivors*, *Stardew Valley*, and more. As with previous updates, these are purely cosmetic additions, enhancing Balatro's visual flair without altering core gameplay.

But the real news is Balatro's immediate arrival on Xbox Game Pass. Previously available for purchase, this addition makes it easier than ever to dive into Balatro’s addictive card-slinging gameplay. Jimbo would certainly approve.
