Nintendo Japan announced on their website that the general release of the Alarmo, originally slated for February 2025, is postponed indefinitely due to production and inventory challenges. The impact on international availability (currently scheduled for March 2025) remains unclear.

In the interim, a pre-order system will be implemented exclusively for Japanese Nintendo Switch Online members. Pre-orders open mid-December, with shipments beginning early February 2025. Specific pre-order dates will be announced shortly.

The Alarmo sold out completely in physical Nintendo stores across Japan and even the New York flagship store.
