Tomnoki Studio's Sphere Defense is a fresh take on the classic tower defense genre, drawing inspiration from the beloved geoDefense. The developer's childhood experience with geoDefense shines through in Sphere Defense's elegantly simple yet challenging gameplay.

The Story

Earth, or "The Sphere," faces imminent destruction at the hands of alien invaders. Humanity, forced underground, scrambles to develop new technologies for defense. After years of setbacks, humanity finally amasses the firepower to launch a counteroffensive, and you're at the helm!

Gameplay

Sphere Defense faithfully recreates the core tower defense experience. Deploy various units, each with unique strengths, to repel waves of enemies. Eliminating foes earns you resources to upgrade and expand your defenses. Increasing difficulty levels demand strategic thinking and resource management.

The game offers three difficulty settings: easy, normal, and hard, each with 10 stages lasting 5 to 15 minutes. See the game in action:

Diverse Turrets for Strategic Combat

Sphere Defense features seven distinct unit types, demanding strategic deployment and combinations to survive. These units include:

• Offensive Units: Standard Attack Turret (single-target), Area Attack Turret (area-of-effect), and Piercing Attack Turret (for linear enemy formations).
• Support Units: Cooling Turret and Incendiary Turret, enhancing the effectiveness of offensive units.
• Specialized Offensive Units: Fixed-Point Attack Unit (precise missile strikes) and Linear Attack Unit (satellite laser attacks).
