A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the official game website.
Titled "The Days Have Worn Away," this seventh installment marks the 29th comic release overall, including special events and themed stories. The release is particularly significant, as it follows a seven-year hiatus since the last comic in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy wait, likening the comic's creation to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that while the tower's builders didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players "only" endured a seven-year wait.

This new comic offers a satisfying conclusion to the storyline, and there are strong indications that it will be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, referencing "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," strongly suggests this. Nevertheless, players can now enjoy a satisfying resolution and a dose of festive cheer.
