Varesa Unveiled in Genshin Impact 5.5: Iansan's Teaser Released

Excitement is building in the Genshin Impact community as miHoYo, now known as HoYoverse, officially unveils a new character for the highly anticipated update 5.5. While insiders had already leaked concept art and gameplay, the developers have now put all speculation to rest by introducing Varesa, a 5-star Electro character who wields a Catalyst in battle.

Iansan, a familiar figure in the game, describes Varesa with enthusiasm:

"Varesa, my most peculiar student… No one matches her easygoing, carefree nature. No matter where she travels, she’s like a child on an adventure—always searching for delicious treats or a cozy spot to rest... But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"

Alongside Varesa, update 5.5 will also introduce Iansan as a playable character. Previously known as an NPC, Iansan steps into the limelight as a 4-star Electro user wielding a Polearm.
