How to Watch Daredevil: Born Again – Where to Stream and Episode Release Schedule

by Aaliyah Mar 17,2025

The mid-2010s saw the critically acclaimed, three-season run of *Daredevil*, captivating audiences with its gritty portrayal of Hell's Kitchen. The 2018 cancellation by Netflix came as a shock to many. While Charlie Cox's Daredevil made brief appearances in subsequent MCU projects like *She-Hulk* and *Spider-Man: No Way Home*, a solo series revival seemed unlikely. Yet, the Man Without Fear has returned, and while now streaming on the comparatively family-friendly Disney+, Marvel promises a grittier, action-packed experience than ever before.

Looking to stream *Daredevil: Born Again* online or need the episode release schedule? Look no further.

What Is Daredevil: Born Again About?

Daredevil: Born Again serves as a sequel to the 2015 Daredevil series, carrying over most characters and plot points. Its placement within the MCU timeline remains somewhat ambiguous, but following his solo series, Charlie Cox's Daredevil played a key role in The Defenders, with smaller appearances in She-Hulk and Spider-Man: No Way Home. His primary antagonist, Wilson Fisk, appeared in the Disney+ series Echo.

While inspired by Frank Miller's Born Again comic book arc, the show isn't a direct adaptation. Marvel's official synopsis describes the story:

Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues political ambitions in New York. As their pasts resurface, an inevitable confrontation looms.

Will There Be a Season 2?

Initially planned as a 19-episode season, Daredevil: Born Again has been split into two nine-episode seasons. The second season, encompassing the remaining half of the original arc, is currently without a confirmed release date.

What About the Rest of 'The Defenders'?

Once part of The Defenders, which ran for one season after the individual series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist), the possibility of a Defenders reunion is being explored by Marvel, according to an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
