Free Fire's Winterlands Festival Returns with Aurora!
Free Fire's Winterlands festival is back, bringing with it a dazzling Aurora and a host of exciting new features. Prepare for frosty fun with the addition of Koda, a new character with unique abilities, icy Frosty Tracks, and an Aurora Forecast system that impacts gameplay.
Meet Koda: The Arctic Mastermind
Koda, a character from a technologically advanced arctic region, possesses the "Aurora Vision" ability. This allows for increased movement speed and the ability to spot enemies hidden behind cover, even providing a preview of enemy locations while parachuting. His backstory involves a mystical fox mask and a connection to snow foxes, adding an intriguing element to his character.
Aurora-Infused Gameplay
This year's Winterlands theme centers around the Aurora. The Bermuda map is transformed into a winter wonderland with an aurora-filled sky and a dynamic Aurora Forecast system. This system provides in-game buffs based on the forecast, adding a strategic layer to battles.
Frosty Tracks: Icy Adventures
New Frosty Tracks, icy paths perfect for skating, are scattered across the Battle Royale and Clash Squad maps. These tracks offer unique traversal opportunities, allowing players to navigate areas like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda while engaging in combat. Special Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF Coins. Clash Squad players will find these frosty highways in locations such as Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.

More Aurora Events and Friend Challenges
Battle Royale players can discover aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad players will find aurora-infused Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and grants squad buffs. Playing with friends adds a fun twist; friends appear as snowballs on the event interface, and completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
