WoW's Season of Discovery Phase 7 Release Date Announced

World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery concludes with its seventh and final phase, launching January 28th. This highly anticipated update introduces the Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the challenging Scourge Invasions event. Guilds can then tackle the iconic Naxxramas raid starting February 6th, featuring a new "Empower" difficulty mode for seasoned players.

The Phase 7 launch follows closely on the heels of Phase 6, which saw players conquer Ahn'qiraj. The mysterious Shadowy Figure, previously sighted in Silithus, remains an enigma, with its potential reappearance in Phase 7 yet to be determined.

Phase 7's content includes:

• Karazhan Crypts: A new 5-player dungeon beneath Karazhan, offering a fresh take on the familiar location.
• Scourge Invasions: Undead hordes will invade various zones, providing new quests and challenges, particularly at Light's Hope Chapel. Defeating these invaders yields Necrotic Runes, exchangeable for powerful consumables.
• Naxxramas Raid (February 6th): This legendary raid returns with an added "Empower" difficulty, increasing the challenge and rewarding players accordingly. Conquering the four wings unlocks access to the Frostwyrm Lair and its final bosses, Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad.
• New Runes: Rune Brokers in starting zones and capital cities will offer new runes for purchase.

While Season of Discovery ends with Phase 7, World of Warcraft Classic players can anticipate further exciting developments throughout 2025. The future of Seasonal realms remains to be seen.
