Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 Update Introduces S-Rank Agent Reruns

Version 1.5 of Zenless Zone Zero marks a significant shift in the game's character release strategy. For the first time, players will have a chance to obtain previously released S-Rank agents through rerun banners. This departure from the previous model of solely introducing new agents mirrors the practices of HoYoverse's other popular titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.

Initially, the absence of rerun banners in Zenless Zone Zero fueled anticipation, particularly after Version 1.4 failed to include them. However, the Version 1.5 Special Program confirmed the arrival of highly-requested reruns. The update will be divided into two phases:

Version 1.5 Agent Release Schedule:

Phase 1 (January 22 - February 12):

• Astra Yao (New Agent)
• Ellen Joe (Rerun)

Phase 2 (February 12 - March 11):

• Evelyn Chevalier (New Agent)
• Qingyi (Rerun)

This structure allows players who missed out on Ellen Joe (originally in Version 1.1) and Qingyi (also from Version 1.1) a second opportunity to add these powerful agents to their rosters. Furthermore, their corresponding W-Engines will also be available. Phase 1 also introduces the new Ether agent, Astra Yao, and her Agent Story.

Beyond the agent reruns, Version 1.5 will also introduce three new character outfits: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. The "Cunning Cutie" outfit for Nicole will be obtainable as a reward during the Day of Brilliant Wishes limited-time event. The inclusion of these outfits confirms recent leaks circulating within the community. The update promises a substantial addition of content for both new and returning players.
