Tute is one of the most beloved card games in Spain, and its popularity extends across Latin America. This engaging game can be played by 2 to 5 players individually or by four players in teams of two. The objective is to be the first to reach a predetermined number of points, utilizing the traditional Spanish deck of forty cards.

In Tute, the card hierarchy is unique, with the Ace taking the lead at 11 points, followed by the 3 at 10 points, the King at 4 points, the Knight at 3 points, and the Jack at 2 points. The 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 are considered white cards and hold no point value.

The gameplay begins with the first card setting the suit for the trick. Players must follow suit if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they have the freedom to play any card, including trump cards. The highest card of the trump suit always wins the trick, while in the absence of trump cards, the highest card of the leading suit claims the trick.
