6 Cartoon Network Games Have Been Delisted

Warner Bros. Discovery's sudden removal of several Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games has sparked significant fan backlash. Popular titles like Steven Universe: Save the Light and Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time are among those mysteriously delisted from digital platforms including Steam and the Nintendo eShop. The publisher offered no clear explanation for this action, leaving fans unable to legally purchase these beloved games.

This delisting is linked to Warner Bros. Discovery's cost-cutting measures, mirroring recent decisions to shelve films and remove content from streaming services. A similar incident occurred in March 2024, involving several Adult Swim games, though public outcry prevented a complete removal of some titles. This time, however, at least six games were silently delisted on December 23rd, 2024, each with a brief message stating their unavailability.

The affected Cartoon Network games include:

  • Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest
  • Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games
  • OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes
  • Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time
  • Steven Universe: Save the Light
  • Steven Universe: Unleash the Light

Interestingly, some Cartoon Network Games remain available, such as Cartoon Network Journeys VR and Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake, along with the soundtrack for OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes. The lack of explanation from Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoon Network Games, and Adult Swim Games has fueled further fan frustration, particularly regarding the removal of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, which many consider canonically important to the show's conclusion. The oldest title affected, Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest, originally launched in April 2014.
